Name: Super Mario Odyssey

Console: Nintendo Switch

Year: 2017

Why: Marios most recent adventure is also his best, and my favorite game of all time. It features an amazing multitude of kingdoms, one minute you are with a T Rex, the next with a taxi in a city. But the best thing about the game is Cappy. Mario can now throw his signature cap at multiple enemies, becoming a frog, a Goomba, a Chain Chomp and numerous other stuff. The controls are amazing, I think better than any other game I have ever played. You truly feel like you’re in control of Mario always. If you die it’s your own fault. And as we wait a sequel, or some DLC, Odyssey does include some excellent post game content once you finish the game, like Luigi Balloon Mode. Perfect game, 5 stars

If we’re talking about Unknowns here, then I can only think of one. The game was an under the radar hidden gem on the PS4 and didn’t come out until many years after its release on the PS4 to the Nintendo Switch.

The beauty of this game is that if can be found often in bargain bins, and people literally have no idea what the fuck they’re skipping over. Do you like RPGS? Preferably the older school RPGS that play sort of like older school Final Fantasy games?

Battle Chasers Nightwar: Nintendo Switch

It’s probably cliche at this point. But the Switch has been the best Nintendo console in my opinion. Can it be better? Of course. But what Nintendo has done this generation is nothing to sneeze at. Most new consoles get by on cross generation games. The Switch isn’t really immune to that… (Looking at you Zelda and Mario Kart) In the past, the handheld version of games was…subpar but you understood why. The Switch erases that line and gives a whole new WAY to play. The conversion between TV and portable is seamless and I do both; even when I’m just in the house. It’s a real game changer and I’m excited to see what’s next
